THE APPALACHIAN TRAIL
The Appalachian Trail runs nearly 2,200 miles across fourteen states, from Springer Mountain in Georgia to Katahdin in Maine. Benton MacKaye proposed it in 1921, and it was finished in 1937. Most of the names along it are plain — gaps, knobs, creeks, shelters. A few are not.
Eight fragrances named for the strangest of them, Maine to the Smokies. Mahoosuc Notch and Lakes of the Clouds up north. The Lemon Squeezer in New York and Pinwheel's Vista in New Jersey. The Priest and Dragon's Tooth in Virginia. Lover's Leap in North Carolina, and Thunderhead Mountain on the Tennessee line in the Smokies.
We picked these names because we liked them. The fragrance in each bottle isn't meant to smell like the place on the label — the name is a tribute to the trail, and the scent stands on its own. Each one is hand-blended at extrait strength in Northeast Tennessee.
This limited collection with original label artwork is available in 30 mL bottles for $55. Shipping is always complimentary.
