Bergamot and ylang-ylang open it bright, magnolia keeps it clean and creamy, and then a heavy dose of musk melts into skin with roasted tonka and vanilla. Sunny, soft and close. The kind of thing you put on when the morning needs help.

Initio released Lift Me Up in 2025 as part of its Hedonist collection, built on materials the house picks for their soothing, harmonizing qualities. Initio says the formula uses a patented technology to ease stress and lift your mood. We make no promises about your stress. It does smell like sunshine.

We named it for Myrtle Point, the easternmost of Mount LeConte's peaks in the Smokies and the best place on the mountain to watch the sun come up. It's a short walk past the High Top summit cairn and open nearly all the way around, and people staying at LeConte Lodge get up in the dark to beat the sun there. Sand myrtle blooms there in late spring.
