Allandale — Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 Impression

Saffron and jasmine open it bright and slightly metallic, with the airy, spun-sugar glow it's known for. Amberwood and ambergris build a heart that's mineral and warm at once, and fir resin, cedar, and sugar carry it through a long, sweet woody drydown.

Harvey and Ruth Brooks built Allandale in 1950 on a 500-acre Kingsport farm, and the mansion was given to the City of Kingsport in 1969. Baccarat Rouge 540 grew out of Francis Kurkdjian's collaboration with crystal maker Baccarat for its 250th anniversary.
