Lychee, bergamot, and ginger open juicy and faintly spiced, bright without turning sharp. Peony, Turkish rose, and raw cocoa give the heart its unusual character — an airy floral bouquet met by something dry, dusty, and almost bitter — before a generous patchouli base grounds the composition in earthy warmth. Beauty Spot is luminous and gourmand at once, with the cocoa keeping the florals from ever reading too sweet.

We chose Beauty Spot because Attrape-Rêves is built on a contrast few fragrances attempt: delicate peony against unsweetened cocoa powder, held together by patchouli. At extrait strength the cocoa gains texture, the rose deepens beneath the peony, and the patchouli reads richer and more resinous rather than sharp. It is playful enough for daytime and dark enough to carry an evening.
