Auraria

Rose comes on rich and boozy, dried petals soaked in Turkish rose liqueur with a hit of saffron. Vanilla rounds out the middle, then Cambodian oud and a smoky bakhoor accord take over, with a tart edge of blackcurrant bud underneath. Think of it as Kilian's Rose Oud with the volume turned up.

Auraria, in Lumpkin County, Georgia, started out as Nuckollsville and took its new name from aurum, the Latin word for gold, during the Georgia Gold Rush. Little is left of it now. Kilian released Gold Oud as a Middle East exclusive.
