Shelton Laurel — Penhaligon's Changing Constance Impression

Cardamom and pimento open it cool and peppery at the same time. Salted caramel moves in fast and takes over — sweet and buttery, with just enough salt to keep it from going sugary. Tobacco sits underneath in the drydown, soft rather than smoky.
Martin and David Shelton settled Shelton Laurel around 1790, where Shelton Laurel Creek meets Big Laurel Creek in northern Madison County, North Carolina. Penhaligon's added Changing Constance to its Portraits collection in 2018.
