Rotherwood — Creed Millésime 1849 Impression

Bergamot, lemon, and grapefruit open it, with cypress adding a green, resinous edge. The heart turns floral — jasmine, ylang-ylang, orris, and two roses — rich without getting heavy. Cedar, sandalwood, incense, and agarwood make up the base, with thyme and laurel keeping it herbal to the end. This is a very old-fashioned barbershop fragrance. Some love it, some hate it. 

Creed released Millésime 1849 in 2013 as a Harrods exclusive, named for the year Harrods was founded. Frederick A. Ross built Rotherwood beside the North Fork of the Holston River, near present-day Kingsport, beginning around 1818.
