Rogersville — Tom Ford Tuscan Leather Impression

Raspberry and saffron hit first — tart fruit against a dry, bitter spice, with thyme underneath. Olibanum and jasmine pass through the heart, but the real story is the leather: thick, smoky, and a little animal. Suede and amber soften the drydown into something closer to the inside of a well-worn saddlebag.

Tom Ford released Tuscan Leather in 2007. Rogersville, chartered in 1789, is where George Roulstone printed The Knoxville Gazette in 1791 — Tennessee's first newspaper — before moving it to Knoxville.
