Clinch Mountain — Louis Vuitton Orage Impression

Bergamot and grapefruit open it sharp and clean. Iris and pepper come in next, cool and a little powdery, with Hedione giving the heart some air. Vetiver and patchouli take over the base — green, earthy, and dry — with Iso E Super and white musk keeping it smooth and close to the skin. It smells like the air right before a summer storm.

Jacques Cavallier Belletrud created Orage for Louis Vuitton in 2018. Clinch Mountain runs about 150 miles across Tennessee and Virginia, and the Carter Family recorded "My Clinch Mountain Home" in 1928.
