Waynesville — Byredo Bal d'Afrique Absolu Impression
Free shipping on every order.
Blackcurrant hits first, tart and juicy, with bergamot and lemon keeping it bright. The heart turns warm and nutty as praline settles in beside violet and soft musk, and black amber, cedarwood, and vetiver give it a deeper, darker base than the original Bal d'Afrique. Same family, more weight.
Colonel Robert Love founded Waynesville in 1810 and named it for his Revolutionary War commander, General "Mad" Anthony Wayne. Byredo released Bal d'Afrique Absolu in 2025, again by perfumer Jérôme Epinette.
