Rugby — Parfums de Marly Castley Impression

Bergamot and ginger open it bright and snappy, with black pepper adding a dry bite. Petitgrain, timut pepper, and neroli carry the heart, green and zesty with a little floral lift, and the timut gives it a citrusy tingle. Akigalawood, labdanum, and benzoin warm the base into something woody and ambery without losing the fresh edge.

Thomas Hughes, author of Tom Brown's School Days, founded Rugby on the Cumberland Plateau in 1880, and the Thomas Hughes Library, built there in 1882, holds about 7,000 volumes. Parfums de Marly released Castley in 2025.
