Lone Mountain — Creed Bois du Portugal Impression

Bergamot opens it briefly, then lavender takes over — dry and aromatic rather than soapy. Cedar comes in fast and does most of the talking, with sandalwood, vetiver, and ambergris warming it from underneath. It's the old-school gentleman's woody, done without a single modern trick.

Creed released Bois du Portugal in 1987, named for the wooded highlands of the Iberian Peninsula. It was reportedly a favorite of Frank Sinatra.
