Green apple hits first, crisp and tart, sharpened by bergamot and mandarin. Petitgrain carries the heart, green and a little bitter, like orange leaves crushed in your hand. Cedar and amberwood dry it down clean and woody, fresh without going thin.

Heriot Clarkson founded the Switzerland Company here in 1909, and the community sits about 3,468 feet up on the line between McDowell and Mitchell counties. Parfums de Marly released Greenley in 2020.
