Jonesborough — Givenchy Gentleman Réserve Privée Impression

Bergamot opens it briefly before the whisky arrives — smooth, golden, and a little sweet, like the inside of an oak barrel. Iris and chestnut give the heart a buttery, powdery warmth, with benzoin softening it further, and cedar, vetiver, and patchouli keep the base dry and polished. It's a whisky fragrance for a three-piece suit, not a bar fight.

Nathalie Lorson and Olivier Cresp created Gentleman Réserve Privée for Givenchy in 2022, working alongside master distillers. The whisky absolute at its center was made in Grasse from Scottish barley.
