Vetiver, patchouli, and a light musk ground the base in soil rather than wood, so the drydown stays green and earthy instead of turning warm.

We chose Canning Season because From The Garden does the hardest thing in green perfumery: it smells like a living plant rather than a perfume's idea of one. Tomato leaf is bitter and strange, and most houses sand it down until it disappears. This one leaves it intact. At extrait strength the vetiver base gains real weight and the tomato leaf holds far longer than the original, which fades quickly.
