Yellow Mountain Gap — Creed Royal Oud Impression

Grapefruit and cardamom open with a bright, dry freshness before angelica and geranium bring an aromatic, slightly green character to the heart. Cedarwood gives the fragrance much of its structure, while oud, incense, and benzoin deepen the base without turning it heavy or aggressively smoky. Yellow Mountain Gap is polished, woody, and quietly commanding.

We chose Yellow Mountain Gap because Royal Oud handles oud with unusual restraint. Rather than building the fragrance around a dense or animalic oud accord, it places oud inside a broader framework of cedar, spice, aromatics, and incense. The result feels formal without being stuffy—distinctive enough for an occasion, but balanced enough to wear regularly.
